Researchers in the CHEER network conduct research related to a number of different problems related to otolaryngology, the study of diseases of the ear, nose, and throat.
Current projects include:
- Assessment of Migraine in Otolaryngology : Research to uncover the prevalence of migraine in patients presenting to an otolaryngologists
- Sudden hearing loss: Testing the effectiveness of a new sudden hearing loss guideline, as well as a nested sub-study on steroid use
- SynGlyphX – Data Visualization: New ways to explore and present data
- Voice therapy project: Assesses the current perceptions and use of voice therapy by otolaryngologists and speech language pathologists in the treatment of patients with voice disorders.
